Background and professional training:
Tomasz J. Jasinski graduated in clinical child psychology at the Warsaw University, Psychological Department. He is an alumnus of Jagiellonian University in Krakow, Institute of Philosophy, and a doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology, Palo Alto, California.He has completed four years' intensive course in analytical psychology at the International Association for Analytical Psychology, accredited by Polish Psychiatric Association, and four years' analytical training at the C. G. Jung Institute of San Francisco, California. He is a member of Polish Psychological Association and a founding member of Polish Association for Analytical Psychology. He is also an individual analytical candidate at International Association for Analytical Psychology.
He works clinically with children and adults both in Polish and English. Within last few years he's been maintaining clinical practice in the United States, which makes him qualified for offering psychotherapy for American expatriates and other English-speaking residents of Poland seeking psychological help, for whom the adaptation to life in different socio-cultural reality is often a challenge. He is offering a long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy in the tradition of Jungian analysis.
Clinical experience:
Psychotherapy of individuals suffering from depression and emotional problems, anxiety, substance abuse, personality disorders, including patients with trauma and traumatic experiences of loss, emotional and sexual abuse. Psychotherapy of children with early developmental disorders (including pervasive developmental disorders), emotional problems, anxiety, interpersonal problems, including parent-child relationship, and ADHD.Publications:
